June Meeting Minutes The meeting was called to order at 6:21pm at the Pizza Ranch in Lennox, SD. Approval of the May meeting minutes was motioned by Mardy Gulbrandson and the motion was seconded by Gege Whitehead. Old Business Sponsorships -- A discussion took place regarding sponsors and the state shoot. DTMS has acquired a few more sponsors - Cartridge World, Gary’s Gun Shop, and the Spencer Subway and Fuel Mart. Shooting Clinic & MSA Shoot -- Club members who attended the clinic believed it was very worthwhile. Members were also pleased with the clubs first MSA shoot. July 13th Shoot -- The shoot starts at 1pm with a shooters meeting at 12:30pm State Shoot -- Details of the state shoot were discussed. Topics of discussion included buckles, grand entry, concessions and supper, announcing and cowboy church. Also a rifle will be given away again at this year’s state shoot. Kevin Finck made the motion that any adult that registers for the shoot will have their name placed in the drawing for a chance to win the rifle. Mardy Gulbrandson seconded the motion - the motion passed. New Business Lennox 4th of July Parade -- The club will have a covered wagon along with banners in this years parade. Our next meeting and practice will be on Thursday, July 10th at Whitehead Arena at 7pm. At 7:15 pm Mardy Gulbrandson made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Gene Whitehead seconded the motion. |
